Phoenix officials are perplexed by a mysterious white light explosion that appeared on television during a local news reporter's live traffic report Thursday.
Andrea Robinson, a reporter with Fox affiliate KSAZ-TV in Phoenix, was presenting a live traffic update Thursday morning when the light appeared on camera behind her.
The station first suspected that the explosion could be a transformer, but local utility providers APS and Salt River Project told the station that no transformers had blown in the area.
The station is asking for the public's help in identifying the unexplained image.
