Russia

Russia is the largest country in the world. There are around 150 million people who live in Russia, under the leadership of Vladimir Putin, who has been in power for over two decades. Putin most recently won the 2024 election, which granted him six more years in office.

The Russian Federation consists of 85 federal entities, which consists of republics, territories and regions.

These entities are all controlled by the government which primarily operates out of the Moscow Kremlin in the country’s capital.

There are a multitude of natural resources in Russia that play into the economy of Russia. Oil, natural gas, coal, timber, plus metals like gold and iron, are all among those that play a major role in the country’s economy.
