Mark your calendars— actually, scratch that— Google Calendar had a notable hiccup today.
The popular calendar service experienced outages this morning-- with some encountering a "server error" page-- although the company recently reported that it is working again for “some users.”

The problem began early today. “We're investigating reports of an issue with Google Calendar,” the company wrote on a status update page at 9:47 a.m E.D.T. Less than an hour later, the company said they were still investigating the issue, and by 11:33 a.m., they said that “Google Calendar service has already been restored for some users, and we expect a resolution for all users in the near future.”
They repeated the same message at 12:35 p.m.
The term “Google Calendar” became a trending topic on Twitter on Thursday, with one much-retweeted tweet time-stamped at 9:40 a.m. proclaiming, “Google Calendar is down. All meetings are canceled. Everyone go home.”
