ARDMORE, Ala. – Three Ardmore teenagers are in legal hot water after they were arrested for throwing rocks at vehicles on Interstate 65 near the Alabama-Tennessee line.
Stanley McNatt, chief investigator with the Limestone County sheriff's office, said the teens are accused of throwing the rocks, some larger than softballs, at ten vehicles Sunday afternoon.
McNatt said all the vehicles sustained damages, but none of the motorists were hurt.
The two 14-year-olds and a 15-year-old, were each charged with 10 felony counts of throwing a deadly missile or projectile into a vehicle.
The teens were released into the custody of their parents.
