Naples, Italy (SportsNetwork.com) - Napoli returns to Serie A action on Monday to host relegated Cesena with Rafael Benitez's side looking to erase the memory of a disappointing exit from the Europa League on Thursday.

Napoli was bounced by Ukrainian outfit Dnipro in the semifinals of the competition, losing 2-1 on aggregate. And now the club must produce a response to stay in contention for a Champions League place.

The club sits in fourth place ahead of this weekend's matches, three points back of third-place Lazio and four behind second-place Roma.

Cesena has already been assured of relegation after last weekend's results, so Benitez and his team will be expecting to claim three points at home to put further pressure on both Lazio and Roma.

Lazio visits sixth-place Sampdoria on Saturday as the team attempts to return to second place, at least for 24 hours.

Roma, meanwhile, hosts Udinese on Sunday in the hopes of keeping hold of an automatic Champions League place with a victory.

Champions Juventus will be more focused on preparing for the Coppa Italia final on Wednesday against Lazio than their Saturday fixture at Inter Milan as the Old Lady chase the treble after reaching the Champions League final on Wednesday at Real Madrid.

Atalanta can secure safety with a home victory against Genoa on Sunday, while Cagliari will be attempting to stay alive with an Atalanta loss and a win of their own over Palermo.

AC Milan visits Sassuolo, Hellas Verona hosts Empoli, Chievo invades Torino and Fiorentina rounds out the weekend on Monday at home against last-place Parma.

The Viola was knocked out of the Europa League on Thursday and will be hoping to keep its place in the top five with a win as teams like Sampdoria, Genoa and Inter Milan wait for the side to stumble.
