Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Odyssey Sims had 30 points, seven assists and five rebounds as the Tulsa Shock defeated the Los Angeles Sparks, 96-90, on Tuesday night.
Glory Johnson recorded 18 points and nine rebounds, while Skylar Diggins added 18 points, five assists and five boards for the Shock, who snapped a brief two-game slide.
Nneka Ogwumike netted a game-high 35 points and Candace Parker provided 28 points and nine assists for Los Angeles, which had a chance to clinch a playoff berth.
Sims poured in 15 of her 30 points in the fourth, including a 3-pointer and a jumper in the paint to cap a 19-8 run and give Tulsa an 87-76 advantage with 3:02 left.
The Shock, who outrebounded LA 37-17, led 50-44 at the break.
