Kasama, Japan (SportsNetwork.com) - Yoshitaka Takeya carded a 4-under 68 on Sunday as he rolled to a two-stroke victory at the MORI Building Cup.
Takeya collected his first career victory on the Japan Golf Tour at 17-under- par 271.
Sang-Hee Lee fired a 5-under 67 during his final round at Shishido Hills Country Club to jump into second place at 15-under 273, while Hideto Tanihara (68) and Dong-Kyu Jang (73) shared third at minus-12.
Prayad Marksaeng (71) finished alone in fifth at 10-under 278.
Takeya entered the final round tied with Jang for the lead, but quickly moved ahead with back-to-back birdies at the second and third as Jang tripped to a triple-bogey 8 at the second.
Takeya picked up another shot at the fifth before posting consecutive bogeys at the seventh and eighth to fall back to 14-under.
He bounced back with five straight birdies from the ninth to race to minus-19 and cruised to the win from there despite capping his round with a pair of bogeys at the 17th and 18th.
