Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Marcell Ozuna crushed his first career grand slam and finished with five RBI as the Miami Marlins topped the Philadelphia Phillies, 14-5, in the second of three meetings.

Christian Yelich, Garrett Jones and Jarrod Saltalamacchia each knocked in two runs for the Marlins, who registered their MLB-leading 18th home win. Miami starter Nathan Eovaldi (3-2) allowed three runs -- one earned -- on 10 hits in six innings.

"I was able to make the big pitches when I needed to and the defense was there," Eovaldi said.

Jimmy Rollins finished 2-for-4, tying Richie Ashburn for second place on the Phillies' all-time hits list with 2,217.

One streak continued and another ended for Kyle Kendrick.

The Philadelphia right-hander was tagged for six runs on seven hits and two walks in 5 2/3 innings. Kendrick (0-5) lost his 10th straight decision, a run that dates to last Aug. 11, and suffered his first loss to the Marlins since Sept. 19, 2008, snapping a string of 10 consecutive wins against Wednesday's opponent.

The Phillies scored two first-inning runs after an overturned call.

Ed Lucas nearly nabbed a liner hit by Carlos Ruiz and the throw from his knees to first was ruled in time for an out. A challenge by the Phillies resulted in an error being charged to the first baseman Jones for his foot coming off the bag.

Ryan Howard drove an outside pitch to left field for an RBI double with two outs and scored on a Marlon Byrd single to center.

Miami tied it during its first at-bat on a Casey McGehee single, followed by a Jones sacrifice fly.

The Marlins moved ahead in the third when Derek Dietrich tripled and scored on a Giancarlo Stanton groundout, but Philadelphia hit three singles in next inning, tying the game on a base hit by Tony Gwynn Jr.

The seesaw affair continued as Miami reclaimed the lead in the bottom of the fourth. Jones led off with a double and Ozuna followed a one-out walk by Lucas with a run-producing single to center. The catcher Ruiz then fielded an Eovaldi bunt and threw late to third base, loading the bases for Yelich, who ripped an RBI single to left to make it 5-3.

The Phillies loaded the bases with two outs in the fifth, but Stanton made a diving catch on the run in right-center field to rob Cody Asche.

"The great catch in right-center field was a game-changing play," said Philadelphia manager Ryne Sandberg. "That was potentially a 6-5 lead and a whole different game."

Miami turned the game into a rout against the Philadelphia bullpen. Jeff Manship retired the first two batters in the seventh before allowing two singles and walk in front of Ozuna's blast to left. Luis Garcia issued four walks and surrendered four more runs in the eighth.
