New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - A pair of second-round draft picks from the Montreal Impact were the only two players selected in the 2013 MLS Waiver Draft as goalkeeper Brad Stuver and midfielder Paolo DelPiccolo each found a new team on Monday.
Stuver was picked fourth by the Columbus Crew after spending last season as a league pool goalkeeper, while DelPiccolo was taken 12th by the New England Revolution.
DelPiccolo was selected with the 27th overall pick by Montreal in last year's SuperDraft, and featured in Reserve League matches for the club without making his MLS debut.
The other 26 players who were not selected by MLS teams are now available to be signed by any club wishing to sign them, while both Columbus and New England drop to the bottom of the selection order for future Waiver Drafts.
