Taipei, Taiwan (SportsNetwork.com) - Paul Wesselingh carded a 2-under 70 on Sunday and came from behind to win the Fubon Senior Open.
Wesselingh finished at 9-under-par 270 and picked up his fourth European Senior Tour title.
Wen Teh Lu led by one entering the final round, but closed with an even-par 72 to end alone in second at minus-8.
Wesselingh birdied one and two, but tripped to bogeys on the fourth and fifth. He parred the final four holes of the opening nine to make the turn at minus-7.
Lu also turned at minus-7 after he stumbled to bogeys at three and five before carding a birdie on the par-3 seventh. Lu traded a birdie for a bogey from the 12th.
Wesselingh, who moved atop the Order of Merit thanks to the win, moved one ahead at minus-8 as he birdied the par-4 16th. Both Lu and Wesselingh birdied the par-5 closing hole to give Wesselingh the 1-shot win.
Bob Cameron was alone in third at 4-under 212 after closing with a 72. Paul Eales (73), Hsieh Chin Sheng (71) and Simon P. Brown (72) shared fourth place at 1-under 215.
