INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Pacers have signed free agents Ron Howard and Darnell Jackson.
Howard is a 6-foot-5 swingman who spent last season with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the NBA Development League.
Jackson is a 6-8 forward who has played with Cleveland, Milwaukee and Sacramento in the NBA. He played last season with the Reno Bighorns in the D-League.
Last year, Indiana pushed Miami to seven games in the Eastern Conference finals, and it appears its roster is mostly set for the upcoming season. The Pacers signed Chris Copeland, Donald Sloan and C.J. Watson in free agency, and traded for Luis Scola.
Indiana hosts Orlando in the season opener Oct. 29.
