Geneva, Switzerland – Jens Dantorp closed with a 2-under 70 on Sunday and earned a 1-stroke win at the Rolex Trophy.
Dantorp finished his first Challenge Tour victory at 18-under-par 270 at Golf Club de Geneve.
The Swede faltered to a double-bogey at the par-3 third. He got one stroke back with a birdie at the par-5 fifth. After three pars in a row, he birdied the ninth to make the turn at minus-16.
Dantorp parred four straight holes to start the back nine. He dropped in back- to-back birdie efforts at the 14th and 15th to move into the lead at 18-under. Dantorp closed with three consecutive pars to hold off Adrian Otaegui, who birdied the last to end one back.
Otaegui also shot 70 in the final round to end alone in second at minus-17. Jordo Garcia-Pinto matched the low round of the day with his 6-under 66. He finished alongside Jose-Filipa Lima (72) in third at 16-under 272.
Damian Ulrich took fifth at minus-15 after shooting 70 in the final round.
