Crystal Palace have completed the signing of winger Jerome Thomas, the club announced on Wednesday.

Thomas, a former Arsenal and Charlton Athletic man, departed West Brom as a free agent this summer following four seasons at the Hawthorns.

He also spent a month on loan at Leeds United, where he made his debut for the club against Palace in November and put in a man-of-the-match performance as Leeds came away with a 2-1 result.

"I wanted to stay at the top level, which is obviously the Premier League," Thomas told Palace's official website. "I hope I can bring a lot to the team. I've got experience of the Premier League and the gaffer's going to give me the freedom to play how I want to play - my attacking game."

Palace, who beat Watford in the Championship playoff final in May, have also signed striker Dwight Gayle from Peterborough and Brighton's Stephen Dobbie.
