Manchester City announced Thursday that Yaya Toure has put pen to paper on a new four-year deal with the club.

The new contract will keep Toure, who turns 30 in May, at the Etihad until 2017.

"This is where I want to be," Toure told the club's official website. "When I first arrived at City, every time I went to sleep I would dream about us winning something. Now it is about us being the best team in whatever competition we take part in."

Toure joined the Citizens in 2010 from Barcelona. He brought a Champions League title, two La Liga titles and a Copa del Rey title to England before winning an FA Cup in 2011 and the Premier League title in 2012 with City.
