Minneapolis, MN – The Minnesota Twins will reportedly host the 2014 All-Star Game.
According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Major League Baseball will make it official on Wednesday with a press conference at Target Field. The paper cites multiple sources in its report and added that the Twins have begun inviting former All-Stars and local officials to the announcement.
The Twins have welcomed baseball's Midsummer Classic twice -- first in 1965 at Metropolitan Stadium and again in 1985 at the Metrodome. Target Field has been the club's home since 2010.
Next year's All-Star Game will be held at Citi Field, home to the New York Mets since 2009.
