Czech Republic and Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky is expected to miss up to two months after undergoing another operation on his injured Achilles tendon, according to reports from the Czech Republic.

Rosicky sustained swelling of his Achilles while playing for the Czech Republic at Euro 2012 this summer. He featured in the 4-1 defeat to Russia before playing the first half of his team's 2-1 win over Greece.

However, the 31-year-old missed the rest of the competition and is now likely to miss the start of Arsenal's Premiership campaign as well as the start of World Cup qualifying for the Czech Republic in September.

Rosicky appeared in 38 games in all competitions for the Gunners last season, earning a new contract from manager Arsene Wenger.
