London, England – Chelsea goalkeeper Henrique Hilario has year contract extension with the club, it was announced Tuesday.
The 36-year-old joined the Blues in 2006 as a backup to first-choice 'keeper Petr Cech.
Opportunities have been limited for Hilario since making the move to Stamford Bridge, but Portuguese stopper has accumulated a total of 39 appearances and 18 clean sheets.
