Nacogdoches, TX – Jeremy Moses, the 2010 Walter Payton Award winner, is returning to Stephen F. Austin to work for the football program as a graduate assistant.
In his senior season at SFA, Moses won the Payton Award (sponsored by Fathead.com) as the outstanding player in the Football Championship Subdivision.
This past season, Moses worked with the quarterbacks at the University of North Alabama under head coach Terry Bowden, who last month took over the program at the University of Akron.
Moses was a two-time Southland Conference Player of the Year and closed out his SFA career as one of the NCAA's more prolific quarterbacks. He set an NCAA FCS career record for completions (1,184) and finished among the FCS all-time top 10 in total offense (13,201), passing yards (13,401) and touchdown passes (121).
