Sources: MLB PED suspension coming

Barring a reversal in the appeal process, a major league player will be suspended in the next 48 hours for using performance-enhancing drugs, according to multiple sources.

The player is well-known but not a major star and not a member of the Yankees, one source said. Craig Calcaterra of NBCSports.com reported that the player is a National League pitcher.
