President-elect Trump reportedly called Alex Jones, a radio host and noted conspiracy theorist, to thank him for his support during the presidential campaign, according to a video on Infowars.
Jones, who's become known for conspiracy theories such as the government's role in carrying out the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and the Obama administration orchestrating the slaughter of 22 schoolchildren in Connecticut, said in a video released this weekend that Trump thanked him and his listeners for their support.
Trump promised to appear on Jones' Infowars radio show soon. He previously did a 30-minute interview with Jones in December.
"He said, listen Alex, I just talked to kings and queens of the world, world leaders, you name it but I wanted to talk to you to thank your audience and I'll be on in the next few weeks to thank them," Jones said.
