Donald Trump is about to trade the campaign trail for the links, stepping away from the presidential race later this month for a tour of his golf courses in Scotland and Ireland.
Just weeks before the Republican National Convention, the June 22-25 trip will take the presumptive GOP nominee first to the newly renovated Trump Turnberry resort in Ayrshire, Scotland.
From there, Trump will travel to Aberdeen to visit the Trump International Golf Links.
Finally, he will travel to the Atlantic coast of Ireland to visit the Doonbeg course. He is set to return to the U.S. on June 25.
Trump announced his whirlwind trip in a series of tweets, but assured he’d return soon to the 2016 trail.
On June 22- I will be going to Scotland to celebrate the opening of the newly renovated @TrumpTurnberry Resort, the worlds best.
