New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie reportedly is expected to end his bid for the Republican presidential nomination.
The Associated Press cited two sources familiar with his plans in reporting the expected announcement.
The decision would come after two-term governor finished in a disappointing sixth place in the New Hampshire primary. After the primary, Christie said he was returning to his home state to weigh his options.
Christie had trouble from the start raising money and building support in a crowded Republican field dominated by another brash East Coaster: businessman Donald Trump.
