HILLARY FALLS, BIDEN RISES AGAINST GOP FIELD
If Thursday’s Iowa poll didn’t panic the Clinton camp, then the new the head-to-head matchups against leading Republicans definitely will. In a CNN poll’s hypothetical general election contest, Hillary Clinton falls to both Jeb Bush and Ben Carson by 2 and 5 points, respectively, and ties Donald Trump. Adding insult to injury, not only does potential rival Vice President Joe Biden beat Trump and Bush, but he beats them by a wide margin. Biden, however, still falls to Carson by 2 points. This poll continues to damage Clinton’s implicit argument that she is the only Democrat who can win.

Biden gets emotional on Late Show - On “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” Vice President Joe Biden said, “‘I don’t think any man or woman should run for president unless, number one, they know exactly why they would want to be president and two, they can look at folks out there and say, ‘I promise you have my whole heart, my whole soul, my energy, and my passion,’ Mr. Biden said…‘And, and, I’d be lying if I said that I knew I was there …’”

Hillary swipes Walker, Trump in first campaign stop to Wisconsin - Star Tribune: “Clinton took special aim at Wisconsin’s Republican governor, going after him over legislation that weakened unions and moves to defund Planned Parenthood. Clinton said Walker has tried to cast himself as ‘a tough guy on a motorcycle.’ She went on to say he ‘gets his marching orders from the Koch brothers,’ referencing Charles and David Koch, the wealthy industrialists who support various conservative causes.”

Bernie ‘stunned’ over new poll results - Sanders said on CNN, “Yes, I’m stunned…Look, we have a message that I believed from day one was going to resonate with the American people. ... Did I think (the issues) would resonate as quickly as they have? The answer is no.”

Q POLL: CARSON CLOSING ON TRUMP IN IOWA
Des Moines Register: “A new Quinnipiac Poll in Iowa finds New York reality TV star/businessman Donald Trump in the lead as the favorite presidential candidate of 27 percent of likely Iowa Republican caucusgoers, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson in second place with 21 percent, and Texas U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz in third with 9 percent. It’s a sharp contrast from Quinnipiac’s last GOP poll in Iowa in July, when Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker was frontrunner with 18 percent, and Trump and Carson each had 10 percent. Walker, who grew up in Iowa, is now at 3 percent, ranking him in 10th place, according to a news release Friday morning. Trump tops another list, said Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll. Twenty-five percent of caucusgoers say they would ‘definitely not support’ Trump for the GOP nomination. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is next highest on this list with 23 percent, followed by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie at 14 percent.”

In addition to Trump and Fiorina, the 8 p.m. ET session will include Ben Carson, Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, John Kasich, Marco Rubio, Scott Walker, Chris Christie, Mike Huckabee and Rand Paul.”

CBS DFW: “Six-year-old Juliette Grimes was eating at a pizza parlor in Frisco, Texas when her older sister delivered an irresistible dare, reports CBS Dallas-Fort Worth…Juliette said she just wanted to get her sister a ball from the machine. ‘I opened the door, and I had my legs out so I opened the door, then put my whole body in there ... but I couldn’t get out,’ said Juliette…Juliette climbed into the shoot where the prizes fall down, trapping herself inside the arcade game…Frisco Fire Department came to the rescue. They were able to free Juliette from the game. Older sister Katy was quick to point the finger at her younger sister. ‘I hope you learned your lesson!’ she giggled.”
