Federal authorities reported an airspace violation Sunday morning by Camp David, where the first family was spending the holiday weekend.

A small aircraft "nicked the edge" of restricted airspace around the presidential retreat, a spokesperson with the Federal Aviation Administration said.

The official said the incident was brief and probably just a symptom of heavy air traffic during this time of the year.

According to WJLA, an F-15 fighter jet intercepted the aircraft and nobody was injured during the incident.
