President-elect Donald Trump’s dramatic deal with air conditioner manufacturer Carrier to keep jobs in America is not the only major campaign promise that he's working to keep.

Trump also is planning a massive, Reagan-like tax cut, according to his nominee for Treasury secretary, Steve Mnuchin. And like the Carrier deal, which keeps 1,000 jobs in Indiana, Trump is not wasting any time.

“We're already sitting down and discussing this with Congress,” Mnuchin said. “And this is going to be something that happens absolutely within the first 90 days of this presidency. We're going to have a major tax reform, biggest tax reform since Reagan. And it's not just going to be a cut in corporate taxes, but it's also going to be a very large middle income tax cut that's going to help this country.”

Mnuchin is also revealing that the Trump team is moving ahead with the president-elect's plan to allow multi-national corporations to repatriate trillions of dollars in profits that are held overseas at a 10 percent rate. That means companies can bring all of that money back to America to build factories, manufacturing centers and create jobs.

And then there's ObamaCare. Trump has vowed to repeal or replace the disastrous health care law, last night, Vice President-elect Mike Pence told my television audience that doing so is at the top of Mr. Trump's ambitious agenda.

“The president-elect's made it very clear he wants the Congress when they convene in early January to take up the task of repealing and replacing ObamaCare first,” Pence said.

President-elect Trump is not even in office yet, and he's already off to a pretty good start. During the campaign, he made very specific promises to the American people. In order for him to be a successful president, all he has to do is go down the list of things he promised and make them happen.

He won’t be sworn in for another 50 days, and he is already checking boxes.
