On Sunday's #Mediabuzz 11 ET:

Mary Katharine Ham said that Kamala Harris' Friday visit to the U.S.-Mexico border “doesn’t actually address the fact that all those border crossings happened” under her leadership and that “she was for decriminalization” when she previously ran for president. She also said that MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle “all but endorsed” Harris during their Wednesday television interview and that “journalists shouldn’t worry” about asking Harris tough questions.

Tim Hogan said that Republicans are playing a “little bit of a game of ‘Lucy with the football’” on the immigration debate. He also said that “if there are problems with those [interview] questions, reporters should ask tougher questions” in response to criticisms of the Ruhle-Harris interview.

Jason Chaffetz said that North Carolina Lieutenant Governor and 2024 gubernatorial candidate Mark Robinson denying a history of obscene, racist postings even with mounting evidence “begs more questions than it actually answers.” He also said that media “glowingly” covered Kamala Harris’ border visit “as if she’s been working that for years. She has not.”

Lucy Caldwell said that New York City Mayor Eric Adams “absolutely should resign” over his five-count indictment on fraud, bribery, and corruption charges and that “people on the left and the right should be able to agree. This is appalling.” She also said of Trump suggesting Catholic supporters of Kamala Harris “should have their heads examined” after she announced plans to not attend the traditional Al Smith dinner, “I don’t think that any politician, Republican or Democrat, should tell voters what it says about them if they don’t lend them their support.”

Kat Timpf said that although Olivia Nuzzi “does deserve to take responsibility” for her sexting scandal with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., “it is remarkable … that [the coverage] really has been almost entirely focused on her.” She also said of Melania Trump hitting mainstream media for going ‘quiet’ in the wake of her husband’s assassination attempts that she too was “kind of shocked how quickly they moved on.”
