Ed Sheeran isn’t happy with Forbes.
According to the 26-year-old English singer-songwriter, the publication ruined some of his friendships after it listed how much he reportedly made.
“The Forbes list actually f----d it up,” Sheeran explained to Rolling Stone, referring to a report in the magazine indicating he made $57 million in 2015 alone.

“I was getting texts from people with pictures of cars going, ‘I’d like this for my birthday, please. This one’s only .06 percent of your annual income.’”
This prompted Sheeran to ditch his phone. He currently uses an iPad for communication and a classic flip phone for close family and emergencies.
He confirmed the claim on his appearance at “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in February.
“I still don’t have a phone number,” Sheeran said at the time. “I bought an iPad and I just work off of email. It’s so much less stress. I don’t wake up in the morning and have to answer 50 messages of people asking for something.”

The artist also revealed to Rolling Stone that it was through email where he first started communicating with one of his favorite artists, Eric Clapton. The 71-year-old invited Sheeran onstage in Japan last year and visits him occasionally for dinner.
According to Sheeran, he still isn’t a favorite with critics, but he’s not bothered by their reviews.
“I could give a f--k about what people think,” he said. “Anytime anyone has a problem with me, I’m just like, ‘My heroes like me. The people I started music for are fans of my music. So why the f--k would I care about what anyone else thinks?’"
