The Ronda Rousey who steps into the Las Vegas Octagon Dec. 30 to fight Amanda Nunes in the UFC 207 may be the most ripped she’s ever been, and the photos on Instagram prove it.

Ahead of her much-hyped return to the cage, Rousey’s images show her back muscles bulging in her learner bantamweight 140 pounds. Rousey seems to be beefing up on her competition with a regime of strength and conditioning and a new and improved diet.

Ronda Rousey will fight to reclaim title from Amanda Nunes at UFC 207

This is Rousey’s first fight since her November 2015 loss against current champion Nunes.

In Rousey’s fight with Holly Holm last year, Holm handily out-muscled the Olympic judo medalist, and while Rousey lost that fight, she will need the newfound bulk for Nunes, who is a both muscular and explosive fighter.

Holm brought an abrupt end to Rousey’s reign atop the women’s bantamweight division when she landed a head kick that rendered Rousey unconscious in the UFC 193 main event.

Ronda Rousey reveals she contemplated suicide after Holly Holm loss

“I feel like anybody can win in this game. We’re all fighting against the top fighters in the world, and anything can happen, and everybody is just a person, and anybody can be beat,"  Holm said, as reported by MMA Weekly. "So I don’t really put a lot into predictions. I do think that it’s going to depend on what Ronda we see."
