R. Kelly, 49, reportedly dating 19-year-old

R. Kelly has been spending time with a new woman and it’s got people up in arms because she’s still a teenager.

This weekend rumors started circulating that the “Trapped in the Closet” singer, 49, is dating 19-year-old Halle Calhoun.

The possible couple was spotted out and about in Atlanta over the weekend leading many to speculate that the two are now an official item, reports VH1. Plus, Calhoun has posted three photos of the pair looking cozy to her Instagram account over the last six months.

The 30-year gap between them has people talking because of Kelly’s past involvement with underage girls.

In 1994, the then-27-year-old singer married the late-R&B singer Aaliyah, who was just 15 at the time. The marriage was annulled the next year.

Then, in 2002, he was charged with child pornography after a video of him engaging in a sexual act with an underage girl. He was acquitted of the charges in 2008.

Representatives for Kelly and Calhoun did not respond to requests for comment.
