Lindsay Lohan is the guru you didn’t know you needed.

“I am in the process of writing a book, and I am very excited to share my personal experiences in life and how to overcome obstacles,” Lohan, who turns 30 on July 2, dished to Vanity Fair. “I hope that my words will connect with those who need some guidance when [or] if they are in a tough place.”

Over the last 10 years, Lohan was arrested on multiple occasions for drunk driving, reckless driving and shoplifting. She completed a short stint in prison, had a serious bout with drug addiction and entered rehab seven different times — some voluntary, others court ordered.

“I can’t turn back time,” Lohan explained. “But if I could, I would have listened more to my mother and gone back to N.Y.C. earlier in life and chosen my friends more wisely.”

With her past behind her, Lohan’s got big plans for the next few years.

“Making more films, writing my book, starting my charity, working with children a lot,” she said. “Maybe having some of my own soon — after I get some movies done, first.”

She didn’t mention any plans to marry fiancé Egor Tarabasov, with whom she recently walked the red carpet, but he’s planning a blow-out birthday bash in Greece for her big day.
