John Stamos slams blogger who criticized 'Full House'

Don’t mess with Uncle Jesse! According to Us Weekly John Stamos took to his Facebook page to defend “Full House.” The kerfuffle happened after a Huffington Post blogger named Annelia Alex bashed the show in an essay decrying it as “unrealistic” and “dumb TV.” The post argued that shows like “Full House” and “Friends,” gave her unrealistic expectations of reality.

The 50-year-old actor who played Uncle Jesse on the ABC sitcom from 1987 to 1995 agreed that the show did present some “unrealistic stuff” but then wrote, “If you're lucky enough to have kids—maybe you should have them watch re-runs of 'Breaking Bad'—see how that turns out."

He then continued: "I bet more good than bad came out of those shows. Sorry it didn't turn out that way for you, Annelia, or you simply just weren't bright enough to take the good from what we did and laugh at the rest."

Two days later Alex admitted that she was “surprised” by Stamos’ heated reaction and still managed to diss the popular actor by writing, —"I didn't know that John Stamos was still a media presence. I called my mom and she informed me, 'Oh yes. He does Greek yogurt commercials [Dannon] now, which makes sense because he is Greek and handsome.'"
