Ellen DeGeneres has announced the launch of her own record label, and her first artist may give Justin Bieber a run for his money.

On Wednesday's episode of Ellen, the talk show host and American Idol judge said the first artist signed to her label would be Greyson Chance , the sixth grader whose cover of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi" became an Internet sensation.

"Greyson ... inspired me to start a record label called eleveneleven. He is my first artist and we are making a record together," DeGeneres said.

DeGeneres  said she will continue to use her show as a platform to find new artists.

Chance appeared on Ellen earlier this month after his piano cover of "Paparazzi" at a recent school festival went viral and generated more than 30 million views.

Guy Oseary, Madonna's manager, and Troy Carter, Lady Gaga's manager, have signed on to co-manage Chance.

Do you think Chance is the next Bieber?
